Hour of Code engages community in coding

Zooming around -- Team 178, The Second Law Enforcers, robot, Gearzmo, hits a hopper dropping 100 balls onto the field which can be collected and shot inside of a low and high goal. The team ranked an overall 35 out of 68 with seven wins and three losses after the three day event.

Ready for takeoff-- The Second Law Enforcer’s robot climbs the rope during the last 30 seconds of their match. Robots in this year’s game have the opportunity to earn up to 150 points per alliance team if they have the ability to climb.

Cracking the code-- Junior Rohan Parikh and sophomore Dhatchinamoorthi Kunde Govindarajan work together on basic programming at the annual Hour of Code. Hour of Code took place on December 7 after school in the library and during the school day on December 9.
