First launched in November 2019, Disney +™ has provided members with all of Disney’s classic and current movies and television shows. The platform has entertained people for months, especially during quarantine put in place by the Covid-19 virus. 

Disney™ fans can find original cartoon movies created by Walt Disney himself, Disney™ channel original television shows from the early 2000s to now, and new content released exclusively on Disney +™. There is no shortage of entertainment for Disney™fans and for others. 

With a subscription of $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year, members have access to movies and television shows from Disney™, Pixar,™ Marvel™, Star Wars™, National Geographic™, and 20th Century Fox™. After the release of Disney +™, a majority of the content from these studios was taken off of other streaming platforms, such as Netflix™ and Hulu™.

For those who always choose a Disney™ movie for movie night and are the first to binge-watch Star Wars or Marvel shows, Disney +™ is able to provide that content. That being said, Netflix™, Hulu™, and Amazon Prime™ provide a variety of content as well, and it is not always affordable to pay for multiple streaming services at once. 

There is no doubt that there is a more diverse range of topics and genres on other platforms. Comedy, romance, horror, and adventure can’t all be found in Disney™ movies, and the similar themes and messages of all Disney™ content can become repetitive and boring for viewers who don’t love all things Disney™. 

However, if you are looking for nostalgia, a happy ending, or something easy and fun to watch, you will not be disappointed with Disney +™. Although it may not be as diverse, the movies and television shows created by Disney™ and other companies owned by Disney™ are always a good watch.

In the long term, if you are not crazy about Disney™, investing in Netflix™, Hulu™, or Amazon Prime™ might be a better choice to keep you entertained For those who enjoy Disney™ or are looking for new content, Disney +™ is a great investment and the best way to watch all things Disney™.
