Taking place during the week of May 20-24, seniors took part in a Senior Spirit Week that included days such as Meme Day, American Day, and Wacky Wednesday. Seniors chose to spend their last spirit day outside in the student parking lot for this year’s official Derby day.

Derby Day entailed seniors hanging outside in the parking lot for a majority of the day playing games and taking pictures. What started off as an old senior prank became an annual tradition.

“Derby Day was definitely a fun day that will be such a memorable

moment from my senior year. I spent time with all my friends in the parking lot and it ended up being such a nice day out. Although we’re graduating soon, spirit week was a fun way to come together before  going our separate ways,” senior Ali Darling said.
