During December, the 2024 Project Graduation team hosted a clothing drive to fundraise for the celebration at the end of the year for graduating seniors. Each year, Project Graduation, a team made up of Farmington High School (FHS) parents and students work together to raise funds and host end of year activities for graduating seniors.
“[The drive] is a joint fundraiser between the senior class and Project Graduation. [We’re] collecting clothing, soft goods and small household goods. Through their FUNDrive program, Savers will buy these items from us”, senior Andrew Ranucci, a volunteer for the drive explained.
Project Graduation does a lot for the seniors to enjoy their final year of high school and fundraisers like this one are vital to funding these activities and there are more fundraisers in store.
“Project Graduation relies on family contributions and fundraisers like this one to put on the all night graduation party after graduation with tons of fun activities and prizes. Project Graduation regularly partners with local restaurants for fundraisers and there is a major fundraiser being planned for the spring so stay tuned,” Ranucci added.
