How long have you been teaching?
This is my 12th year teaching, and my 10th at Farmington High School.
What’s one thing your students don’t know about you?
I’m not sure. I am an open book in the classroom. Any student who has had me a few times probably knows all there is to know about me.
What has your experience at FHS like?
Teaching and coaching at FHS is exactly what I hoped this job would be like. I’ve made some great friends, some lasting connections with students and alumni and I’ve enjoy the journey we make with our basketball team every season.
What advice would you give high school students today?
Enjoy it. I had so much fun in high school that I decided to go back for the rest of my life. And don’t stress too much. If you are a hard worker, opportunities will present themselves and you will do just fine for yourself.
What activities take part in when you were in high school?
I played basketball and soccer, I was in the Future Business Leaders of America club and I worked part time in my school’s athletic office.
How do you spend your time outside of school?
I enjoy free time with my family and my friends. Our get-togethers usually revolve around sports and/or food.
